Most events require tickets or RSVP; some are free. Festival organizers encourage people to buy tickets and RSVP online to reduce contact, but tickets can be paid for at the event by credit card or cash. For the community-based events, the festival organizers ask attendees to choose a ticket price of either USD 20 or USD 5. Organizers said those who are able are encouraged to consider the full $ 20 ticket; those who cannot pay this price are encouraged to purchase a $ 5 ticket. Tickets, RSVP and more information can be found at batesdancefestival.org.
