ComfortDelGro launches lifestyle and mobility app from a single source

SINGAPORE: ComfortDelGro announced the launch of a one-stop lifestyle and mobility app called Zig on Tuesday (March 2nd).

The new app, available March 9, will allow users to book taxis, plan trips, make restaurant reservations, place click-to-collect orders in grocery and beverage stores, find deals, and buy tickets to attractions and entertainment stores .

The app is designed to help users “conveniently connect, commute and discover new experiences in and around Singapore,” ComfortDelGro said in a press release. An interactive map-based interface “makes it easy to find lifestyle services,” she added.

“This is the first time we have introduced such an all-in-one lifestyle and mobility app,” said Yang Ban Seng, General Manager and Group CEO of ComfortDelGro.

“In a digital world, mobility is no longer just about getting people from point A to point B. It’s about offering people services wherever they are, whenever they need it. “

Zig’s current partners include Chope and Klook, ComfortDelGro said. The app will initially offer more than 1,500 restaurants and more than 300 entertainment options, including overnight accommodation and kayaking trips.

ComfortDelGro said Zig has partnered with local brands like Gyu Nami Japanese Restaurant and MXG Classics Mala Xiang Guo Restaurant to “encourage users to explore neighborhoods and neighborhoods while discovering” hidden gems “.

ComfortDelGro added that more services will be rolled out as Zig’s user base grows. Grocery delivery is slated to be added to the app in the future. A loyalty program will start in the second quarter of the year.

Zig will be available for download on March 9th from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
