August 24th

Pfarmers Market: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the rear parking lot at Pflugerville First United Methodist Church, 500 E. Pecan St. Vendors sell products such as tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, pumpkin, okra, garlic, melons, peaches and grapes. The market also offers artisanal baked goods, honey, plants, eggs, free-range meat, salsas, pickles, and jams. Masks are recommended. For information: pflugervilletx.gov.

City council meeting: 7 to 11 pm in the council chamber, Suite 500, E. Main Str. 100. The council meets every second fourth Tuesday of the month. For information: pflugervilletx.gov.

August 27th

Music in the Park: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Pfluger Park, 515 City Park Road, Pflugerville. Various live bands are presented. People are invited to bring deck chairs, pets, blankets, and picnic baskets. Alcohol is allowed, but no glass containers. For information: pflugervilletx.gov.

September 1

Conversational ESL: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Pflugerville Public Library, 1008 W. Pfluger St. Informal group to practice and improve your English. The focus is on understanding and the spoken language. Registration: pflugervilletx.gov.

September 2nd

Spice of the Month Club: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Pflugerville City Library, W. Pfluger Str. 1008. Those who register will receive a sealed package of saffron threads and a list of recipe suggestions. Attendees can use one of the recipes provided, find their own online, or use one of the club’s many cookbooks. Saffron kits and recipe packs will be distributed in the library by September 1st. Collection of the kits is optional; People can also simply request a meeting link and recipe pack during registration. Registration: pflugervilletx.gov.

September 14th

Education level – Pflugerville ISD: 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at one location still open. The speaker will be Pflugerville School District Superintendent Doug Killian. This monthly lunch offers the opportunity to find out more about business-related topics. To register: pfchamber.com.
