Like most who spend half their waking life at work (maybe even a job you don’t like) – can you endure a five-day week so you can enjoy a two-day weekend? Spend 50 weeks in the dark so you can enjoy a two-week annual break. Doesn’t that sound absurd to you?

Our busy city life is now faster than ever and you are likely to experience a lot of tension on a daily basis. This can include work stress, financial stress, relationship worries, parental tension, work pressures, and the need to keep up with others in this competitive society in which we live.

You probably take a break every now and then, but what if you could “relax” your lifestyle! Imagine creating a life that you don’t need to take a break from? A life you love

My students ask me – is that even possible? The answer is a resounding YES!

So how do you create this life?

Here are some tips to help you create a life that you want to live every day, every moment, without a break. When you’re ready to TRUST yourself, reprogram your consciousness, and build the skills you need, you can become someone that no one thought you could, maybe not even yourself.

Step 1 – Trust that it is possible

Without this acceptance, you will never try. You will never give him the energy he needs or you will stop too soon. To confirm your belief, ask yourself, “Has anyone done this before, or is someone living this life now?” If you can, so can you! We call this rddha in Zen.

Step 2 – OBJECTIVES!

You are probably LOST out of touch with what you love to do and really don’t know what would be fulfilling work for you. Find that first. Design this life with purposeful goals with specific schedules. We call this “Lakhy” in the Yogic Anthology. Answer these questions immediately.

• Where do you see yourself in a year, five years, ten years from now?

• What will you do and how much will you earn?

• What example will you give?

• How will your example make the lives of those you love different?

Step 3 – ACT & acquire

the abilities!

You have to build this life by not chasing the money – instead finding things you can be passionate about and then developing the skills you need. You need a realistic analysis of whether what you love to do is really something someone is willing to pay you for!

You may know what you want and even know what to do, but still you are not doing anything. When you take this “first step” you will build your self-confidence, increase your drive and create momentum so that you are motivated! We call this principle “Karma-Phala” in yoga.

This is why it is important to know who you are serving, helping, and inspiring. If you add value to people, they’ll be happy to pay you. You create this life by serving others, you cannot achieve it by serving only yourself. Your income will always be proportional to the number of people you serve and the degree of impact you have on others. It’s the simple truth. Skills pay the bills.

Step 4 – persevere and be ready

Fail!

You build this life with perseverance and by getting up after falling. Again and again. We call this “gaman” in Japanese Zen. Develop the skills to learn from your mistakes and apply what you have learned – every day!

Step 5 – REPEAT!

Every action you take is one step closer or further away from the life you want. So why not consciously create this life? So now set the purpose for your life. What do you want from this human experience that you are having? What impact will you have? What example will you give? Clearly define what success means for you to break out of the matrix and practice a conscious and conscious life.

We humans are the creators of our universe and you have the potential to make changes in it that you may not have thought of. I keep telling my students, “We all create stories. What’s stopping you from making your life story great? “
