Allied Universal says hundreds of security guards are being hired for a variety of jobs, including COVID-19 vaccination centers.

LA County’s unemployment rate is 11%. Allied Universal is proud to offer jobs that cost $ 14 to $ 28 an hour and encourages applicants to start the process online at jobs.aus.com.

“We provide training. Customer-centric people, friendly people, good communication skills and positive attitudes,” said Brenda Studley, vice president of Recruiting-West at Allied Universal.

Over the weekend, anti-vaccine protesters disrupted people looking for COVID-19 shots at Dodger Stadium. Politicians say free speech cannot interfere with others’ right to access health care.

However, Allied Universal says their recruitment campaign is not related to these protests, but rather is related to the increasing needs of a growing industry.

“In the state of California, you need a safety license, but vaccination centers don’t because it’s a traffic control,” Studley said.

Allied Universal advises job seekers to wear a mask for car interviews between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Tim Jin says he feels abandoned by heads of state during the introduction of COVID-19 vaccination. John Cádiz Klemack will report for NBC4 News on Monday February 1st, 2021.

On Wednesday February 3rd, they will be at the Redondo Performing Arts. Thursday, February 4th at Fairplex Pomona Gate 17 and Friday, February 5th at Empire Drive 1919 in Burbank.

Of the 750 vacancies, around 500 new hires will protect the vaccination centers.

“We hired many people from the hospitality, restaurant, and retail sectors because our company is also supposed to have good customer service skills,” said Studley.
