STOCKHOLM, May 21, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Cupcake-making, trail running races, dog training and a three-hour live meditation are among the events Bambuser plans to do during Week of Hope. From May 24th to May 30th, anyone can arrange almost anything to help fight cancer in children. Even before the start of the event, it almost reached its donation target – one million crowns.
Since 1982, the Swedish Children’s Cancer Fund (Barncancerfonden) has been helping more children survive cancer and providing affected families with the care and support they need. Thanks to generous contributions from in STOCKHOLM Individuals, companies and organizations, the Childhood Cancer Fund is the largest funder for childhood cancer research in Sweden.

Our goal is not only to increase this survival rate, but to help these children manage their illnesses with as few long-term side effects as possible. During Week of Hope, we ask the public to join our commitment to raise funds for childhood cancer research and to support our initiatives for these children and their families, “he says Malin Paulsson, Project Manager for Week of Hope at Childhood Cancer Fund.
Bambuser’s Week of Hope is a new initiative from the Swedish Children’s Cancer Fund. During the week of May 24-30, individuals and businesses can participate in or create their own activities based on their preferences, interests and applicable COVID restrictions.
Week of Hope is run in collaboration with Bambuser, and all participation fees are transferred to the Childhood Cancer Fund to continue the work of the organization. Before the event began, the initiative had almost reached its goal of donating one million crowns.
The week’s many activities include two live interactive shows that benefit the vital work of the Childhood Cancer Fund. Using Bambuser’s technology, visitors to the Childhood Cancer Fund website can watch the live broadcast, interact via likes and live chat, and give a gift – all seamlessly.

About Bambuser’s Hope Week
- When: 24.-30. May 2021.
