West Ham have signed a deal to loan Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard for the remainder of the season.
Lingard has dropped the pecking order at Old Trafford for not appearing in the Premier League this season and is trying to secure a move to get more minutes for the first team.
Newcastle and West Brom are believed to have reached out to Lingard’s agents to loan the disgraced England international but the 28-year-old turned down their offers.
The total cost of a potential business is estimated to be in excess of £ 3 million, including Lingard’s loan fee and wages.
