If you think Charoenkrung can’t happen any more than it is now, something new is on the way back to the area. Last month we reported on an exclusive piece about a new creative space due to open in Soi Charoenkrung 34 this summer. Now the trending area is set to welcome a new retail member sometime next year.
Real estate developer Boutique Corporation, whose portfolio includes lifestyle shopping centers such as Rainhill on Sukhumvit 47, has announced a new lifestyle shopping mall project to be located at the Chan-Charoenkrung intersection near the Four Seasons and Capella hotels that are currently taking place. Covering an area of 2,100 m², this new shopping center will have three floors and 18 individual retail stores, which will be used for subletting shops, restaurants and educational institutions. It is also equipped with a parking space for 34 cars.
According to the press release, the mall will feature a “minimalist Nordic-style facade” with tasteful wood decorations that exudes Charoenkrung’s rich history along with an “open and airy contemporary feel” that will appeal to anyone who passes the intersection.
The Boutique Corporation expects the mall to be completed in the second quarter of 2022.
