The city of Midland reported several road closures due to severe flooding on its Facebook page.

A road between Douglas and Cuthbert was closed due to flooding near Wadley-Barron Park. Parts of Ohio and Missouri are also closed at this time. Officials are urging drivers to be careful while driving and to seek alternative routes whenever possible.

All of Midland City’s pools and wading pools are closed today due to continued rain and lightning.

The Museum of the Southwest also announced that the Summer Lawn Concert will be canceled tonight.
