In anticipation of Friday’s bad weather forecast, high school soccer games have been postponed for several schools to open.
South Iredell will open the season at home against Alexander Central on Thursday. Kick-off is 6:30 p.m.
Since the Vikings JV team was supposed to host Alexander Central on Thursday, the game has now been postponed. No makeup date has been announced yet.
West Iredell will now open the season in Draughn on Thursday. Play time is 7 p.m.
No changes were made to the following Friday varsity soccer games until Tuesday night: Statesville, Mitchell County and North Iredell, Mt. Airy.
