The Boy Scout Troop 3 deals with cleaning up the off-ramp lifestyle

Scout Troop 3, meeting at Trinity Episcopal Church of Ambler, recently cleaned up the Route 309 South exit in Butler Pike, creating 25 bags of garbage in the process. The group has taken over this ramp and is doing several cleanups every year. The commitment corresponds to the service provided by Scouting to the community and the Leave No Trace principles. It was more difficult to get the force together for service and excursions during the pandemic, but it has managed to have several camping and backpacking adventures recently. The troop alternates their meetings between virtual and personal around the campfire. Boy Scout Troop 3 serves boys in Ambler and the surrounding communities.
