Think of legendary jockey Sir AP McCoy and you think of broken bones, victories from the jaws of defeat and the unbeatable 20 champion jockey titles.

There’s also the record of 4,358 winners and the unforgettable Grand National win on Don’t Push It.

McCoy, now 47 years old and six years old, will be considered a great athlete.

And judging by the life he lived off-course, a man of impeccable taste.

A look at the incredible villa he built from scratch shows this.

McCoy and his loyal wife Chanelle decided in January 2011 to sell their old 6,500 square foot, £ 2.5 million house.

They kept some of the 110 acres they previously owned and built a new 10,000 square foot residence on top of it.

Completed in 2015 and located in the Lambourn Racecourse, Berkshire, the house has a definite wow factor.

So much so that a website asked if the 17-meter cloakroom was “the best ever”. after it was nominated for an award.

The woodwork, which stretched the entire length of one of the mansion’s wings, was even fitted with Swarovski crystal handles.

In a game room, Arsenal fan McCoy had a framed Gunners shirt with Jack Wilshere’s name on the back.

A Brian Lara cricket shirt and another signed Arsenal jersey overlooked the full size snooker table.

HUGE BATHTUB WITH BUILT-IN TV

The huge bathroom has a bathtub that has played a role in McCoy’s career as much as any winner.

For a six-foot jockey, McCoy was constantly dieting and sweating off pounds to stay light.

Hours and hours have been spent in hot baths, so installing a waterproof TV on the bottom of this TV is only right.

And if he wanted to lose a few pounds through exercise, McCoy could jump into his outdoor pool.

The Irish jockey, who befriended Ronaldinho at Soccer Aid 2016, loved speed on four wheels as well as on four legs.

But he was involved in a terrible road collision in 2015 that resulted in his writing off his £ 60,000 Porsche Panamera.

Fortunately, the jockey, knighted two months later, got out of the 70mph smash unharmed.

And he was so impressed with how the car absorbed the impact that he bought a new one later that day.

£ 60,000 PORSCHE crashed, bought another

Describing the incident, McCoy said, “When I finished racing and moved from constant driving to driving myself, I wanted something a little more sporty.

“Of course I have two children and I like to play golf, so the Porsche Panamera is a good compromise.

“I got it pretty much straight away when I retired in 2015.

“I was thinking of changing it and buying an Aston Martin or something, but then one Monday morning a guy who was driving in front of me fell asleep behind the wheel of his van on the M4.

“He drove into the median and landed in the middle of the road, then a Mercedes SUV hit him and they both ended up in the outside lane where I was.

“I came along, drove at the speed limit of 70 mph and didn’t have time to react like that.

“Somehow nobody was injured, but the van landed 50 meters on the roof, the Mercedes was torn to pieces and my Panamera was written off.

“I couldn’t believe how well it took the impact, though – so I bought the exact same car that same evening.”

When he’s not driving a Porsche, McCoy can be found on a quad.

But even with that he was unlucky.

McCoy thanked police on Twitter last June after the stolen item was found in the back of a truck heading for Romania.
