Registration is required for library events, unless otherwise stated. To sign up, visit https://woburnpubliclibrary.org. The library is open Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Youth events

History Crafternoon: 3 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. July 6, Storytime & Craft Room. Join Miss Christine for some stories and a simple craft! Preferably at the age of 3-6 years. Siblings welcome. Registration is required to minimize the rush and promote social distancing. Can take place outside when the weather is nice.

Experience the wildlife: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. July 6, program room / outside. Live presentation of animals for all ages followed by petting. Matt “the Animal Man” Gabriel says, “The mission of Animal World Experience is to provide the funniest, most interactive, and educational animal presentations to audiences of all ages. I hope that through my animal presentations, people will develop respect and awareness for animals of all kinds Species.” Registration required.

PJ storytime: 5.30pm-6pm July 7th program room / outside. Get a go at bedtime! Join in for songs, exercise activities, and stories. 5 years and younger. Siblings welcome. Registration required.

Baby Lapse: 11: 00-11: 30 a.m. July 8, program room / outside. Sing, play and bounce with your baby to gentle rhymes and stories. Age 12 months and younger. Registration required.

Weekly Craft: 3 p.m. – 3 p.m. July 9 program room / outside. Join Miss Samantha and build a sparkling peacock craft! Best for grades K-5. Registration required.

Musical storytime with Powers Music: 11 a.m.-12 p.m. July 10, program room / outside. Join Powers Music School staff and students with live music and storytelling! Preferably from 3 years. Registration required.
